Anyone who rewatches this fight without blind love for Miguel Cotto will realize that Clottey clearly won this fight. He outlanded Cotto overall, and in 8 of the 12 Rounds. He landed the cleaner more effective punches. He hurt Cotto often while he was never hurt once in that fight... And as one poster said, there is no way Clottey would be able to win a decision. And some of you are OK with this?

Cotto had a great fight like always...all the people that are sleeping on Cotto did not win because Clotely had a poor match are somehow exagerating...this is how it go in sports, especially in boxing - we are saying that in any domain it's pure luck, but in boxing it's pure punch. :P Too bad I found this topic so late, I also did a small bet on Cotto and could have gone for more if knew how many people are sleping on him. Thanks Dawson!

In boxing 28 can be 38, when you add the mileage of a decorated amateur career (that he had), all the rounds in the gym, and all the wars in his early career (Torres, Mosley, Margarito and now Clottey, to name a few). "777," we both know that even the best fighters RARELY make significant adjustments when fighting a certain way has generally been successful for them throughout their career. Marco Antonio Barrera is a rare exception.
