Late Agbeko Vs. Mares Fight Prediction!!

I  sincerely apologize to my fellow fight freaks out there for not writing this post earlier. I have recently been immersed in fantasy football mania, so please cut me some slack.

Since the fight is literally going to take place in a couple of hours, I unfortunately have to keep this prediction post short.

Tonight, Joseph "King Kong" Agbeko (28-2, 22 KO’s) will earn a hard-fought, close decision victory against Abner Mares (21-0-1, 13 KO’s).

Both fighters have faced comparable competition, but I believe that Agbeko’s chin, conditioning, physical strength, power and underrated boxing skills will be enough to edge Mares tonight.

Mares is one "helluva" fighter, and honestly, I could easily see him winning based on his foot/hand speed and ring generalship. Fighting in Las Vegas in front of what should be a partisan crowd, should also boost Mares’s performance.

But I’ll stick to my guns. "King Kong" will be pounding his chest and clutching his belt around midnight (EST) tonight.
