Fights Of The Year, In Advance

As the snow melts up north and the thermometer continues to rise down south, the spring boxing schedule heats up, starting next month.

On Cinco de Mayo (May 5), Floyd Mayweather and Miguel Cotto face off in a super middleweight superbout.

On May 19, Amir Khan tries to regain his junior welterweight belt against Lamont Peterson in a rematch of their exciting bout last year.

Manny Pacquiao battles former junior welterweight king Timothy Bradley on June 9.

And last but not least, Andre Berto and "Vicious" Victor Ortiz square off in a rematch of my 2011 fight of the year.

No matter what happens in these fights, I’d just like to say, "thank God for welterweights!"
