Thank you for sharpening Thomas Hearns’ skills as a boxer, for that, I am thankful. He was my (late) father’s favorite fighter, and hence a boxer who I grew up following and enjoying.

Thank you for helping my favorite heavyweight of all-time, Evander Holyfield, resuscitate his career with an unexpected victory in his first rematch with Riddick Bowe.

And thank you for providing jewels of sarcasm and wit during your stint with HBO Boxing as a ringside announcer and expert.
